A few things I learnt from the first weeks of school

Helllllooooo! I've been MIA for a while because of a few reasons but mostly because of my incredible workload(THE READINGS, ARTS PEOPLE DO YOU FEEL ME??!!) and some illness in the recent weeks. But anyway all is good and I'm now back to taking zero medication again which is great!
There are so many things I wish to write about but I am too tired to compose my thoughts well right now. So this'll be a short post about a few things I've learnt in the first weeks of university!
1)
Talk to someone you normally wouldn't.: In the first few lectures I went up to a few people who looked interesting ( and who I'd never met before) and introduced myself and made conversation with them. Maybe when we are anxious for something, ( in my situation to find companionship) we experience a sudden burst of courage to do things we'd normally never do. But yay to doing the unexpected because I've met a bunch of really cool and interesting people this way who I'm still hanging out with. And also it beats sitting in lectures all alone.
2.Dress properly.Please.: Dear girls everywhere, there is nothing wrong with wearing a pair of shorts to school especially because it's so hot all the time. Unless your shorts are so revealing that everyone can see your ass. Because then you might as well be strutting around campus in your underwear. Come on, someone had to say it.
3.Makeup application is not for the easily discouraged:I was so excited about finally being allowed to wear makeup to school. And so I was so excited about using all these fancy primers and bases( and whatever other stuff salespeople have succesfully convinced me that I just HAVE to use) daily. My excitement only lasted 3 days though because I by the time I got to my first class each day I had sweat so much that the makeup was all gone anyway. You see the arts campus where I have most of my classes is built on a hill. To get from one place to the next requires one to climb flight after flight of stairs. Also nobody is actually going to be looking at my face in lectures so unless I'm already up early I shall not bother with the extra effort.
I was planning to write more but I'm way too tired! I will update this space more frequently though! Thanks for reading and happy mid-week people!:)
