Things I see/ things I do/ Ignorant doctors

Hello everyone, I'm sorry I've been away for a while. I've been out trying new things and reconnecting with old friends. Here's a mash of some things I've been meaning to write down.
I was just thinking the other day, how often do you meet people who have some kind of authority over you who are just incredibly dumb? I hate to sound condescending but I guess I necessarily will in this case. If I had a dollar for every doctor who was so unbelievably deficient in social etiquette that it is a struggle not to feel my eyeballs reach the back of my head. Or what about all those teachers you simply cannot bring yourself to respect? It's just that a degree from an Ivy League college means very little to me if you are unable to hold a conversation with someone without making them feel disrespected. My real question is: How does one deal with such people? I've discovered that I am rather good at smiling and nodding my hide respectfully without being overly courteous. I haven't decided if this is a plus point. Maybe if I wasn't so nice, the annoying persons in question would realise they need to chek themselves? Maybe they'd realise that beautiful things don't ask for attention, and they certainly don't shove such requests down your throat.
Things I don't do anymore that I really should:
1) Switch off my phone.
2) Read a book when commuting.
3) Wake up in time to watch the 7a.m. cartoons.
Things I saw that made my day:
1) A primary school student donating some of his money to a blind busker.
2) The nice man who instead of rushing into an already packed train during rush hour, said he'd wait for the next one because "Safety first".
3) When I saw someone scrolling through this site and smiling.
