I've been away because I have been doing a lot of work, dealing with the idea of there being a lot of work and dealing with this seemingly never-ending case of writer's block.
Since university has started my social life has become very important to me. Or maybe its been that way since the 'A' levels ended last year. But basically I spend a lot of time out hanging out with friends. You know how they say out of the 3 things sleep, grades and a social life a uni student can only have 2? It's true. I sleep less( or maybe just later). I'm not whining, I'm really having a lot of fun despite the workload. The workload is insane. Despite my good
superior time management skills I'm
just keeping up. Also I am incredibly obsessive. I am also actually quite uselss without a plan. I make To-do lists all the time. Like I can make multiple to-do lists in a day because sometimes a few hours after writing one I realise the old one was terrible and I need to make another one. I was gonna post a pictue of the list of erm, to-do lists on my phone but I don't want people to think I'm completely crazy.
I know I said I wouldn't post photos but I have too many pretty photos and I need to show off. Here are some pictures of what I've been up to:
Siao Meng's birthday! Her turquoise hair is actually really, really pretty although I was shocked at first. If someone makes a snide remark about your hair know it is because they are suppressing a latent desire to break out from conformity.
Went cycling a couple of weekends ago. We cycled from East Coast Park to Marina Barrage which means we covered about 20km in distance both ways. It was really cool because the city skyline is really quite surreal in the evenings.:)
And then I went for World Animal Day. I don't have a nice picture but here's the poster. The event was an adoption-drive cum awareness-raising event about stray dog issues, pet care tips etc.
So as you can see I've done quite a few cool things recently! And even though I'm feeling a little stressed now I try to remind myself that the story of my life is just getting good and that there is much to look forward too.
